Our Moon-Poured Candles In Depth

Each candle harnesses the energy of the zodiacal transit and placement that it was crafted under. When you burn an Exalted Alchemy candle, the good celestial energy is released back into your space. You can work with these energies intentionally or just allow the good energy to fill your space. Each batch is limited edition, and we only pour a select number of candles under each moon. We often recreate the candle style/scent, however, the specific energy can never be recreated. Candles are not always in stock and once they sell out we cannot guarantee when the next batch will be poured, as we have to ensure the energies align to support that candle's intention.

We encourage you to get creative with how you use your candle. Some of our favorite suggestions are fire gazing, intention setting, or using in a ritual. Read our "how to use" section for more.  

It can be very supportive to get a candle that resonates with your personal astrology chart, however, it can be equally supportive to work with a candle in an alternate sign, promoting balance. Always trust your intuition. If there is a candle calling to you or if there's a specific theme you're working on, then that's likely the one for you. 

New moons are great for focusing on fresh ideas, and full moons are great for anything coming to fruition. Both moon phases, new and full, can be supportive for manifestation. The zodiac sign at the time of the pour helps determine the specific energy of the candle. The energy of each candle can also be determined by other astrological factors, like planetary aspects, conjunctions, squares or trines. 

Exalted Alchemy candles feature an apricot-coconut wax with an all-natural and non-toxic scent blend that contains a mix of essential oils and all natural fragrance oil. The fragrance oil we work with is blended from essential oils and is free from all carcinogens, toxins, mutagens, parabens, phthalates, and PFAFs. We choose to use this blend as it is the most sustainable option. Essential oils have a strong environmental impact, are quite unsustainable, and should be used sparingly and conscientiously. We use apricot-coconut wax, which we find to be the softest and most sustainable wax for our candles. This wax is even cleaner than traditional soy based waxes. 

Our candles, and all of the ingredients used, are vegan, cruelty-free and biodegradable. We encourage our customers to reuse candle jars by simply peeling off the label and removing the wax from inside the jar. To most effectively remove residual candle wax we recommend freezing it or using boiling water.
